This Bishoujo X-Men Psylocke Will Lock Your Gaze and More!

What is it with bishoujo? When Western cartoon characters are depicted in bishoujo (pretty girl) style Japanese female character design, they suddenly take on a new life that’s not just quite appealing to males, but also cute for female fans. One of the best known bishoujo sculptors is Yu Ishii. He definitely knows where to put all the curves and create a female body with the correct proportions, pose, and face that appeal to the bishoujo market. But even if you don't know anything about bishoujo, this Psylocke figure will still make your mouth water!

Recently, female Marvel superheroes have been depicted as bishoujo characters. Here is Psylocke of the Uncanny X-Men depicted as a Japanese woman. It’s just fitting since Psylocke’s origins tell of a British woman with psychic powers whose mind got transferred into the body of a female ninja. Thus, Psylocke’s transformation as a bishoujo girl echoes the story of the mutant character. Psylocke’s new body gave hew martial arts skills that made her a deadly opponent. You wouldn’t want to get near her mind or body. Yet, she will definitely lock your gaze and attention wherever you put her. She’d definitely has a place in your Marvel figures collection, especially if you’re also a fan of manga and anime!

Marvel's Black Widow As a Bishoujo Girl

Is there any young male fan of Marvel superheroes who didn't dream of their favorite female character as rendered in sexy anime style? Well, it seems that the marketing moguls of such franchises know what young collectors have been thinking about and have come up with a series of Marvel female superheroes made to look like pretty anime girls!

Here is the Black Widow in her shiny, tight-fitting, jet-black outfit and flaming red hair. Already an eyeful in her traditional costume, but now, even more so as a Japanese bishoujo (pretty girl) statue! This one will be pretty hard to resist by male collectors with raging hormones.

The X-Men's Rogue Is Deadly Pretty as an Anime Bishoujo Style Statue

The X-Men characters aren't supposed to be anime, but here is the pretty mutant Rogue presented in all her covered-up glory in the "pretty girl" bishoujo style. After seeing her like this, you may not want to see her like anything else!

This X-Men Rogue statue was designed by Shunya Yamashita with every curve and crink in the suit presented in such full detail it's almost too real. It doesn't matter if Rouge is all covered up and as we all know, her showing some skin can be fatal to some, and it might be the case for you with this fine statue if there's more revealed. Click here or click the product image on top to purchase your own bishoujo X-Men Rogue statue.

Dante Statue from Devil May Cry 4 Is Good Enough to Run After Even into Hell

One of the most famous of all video game "anime" characters is Dante from the Devil May Cry series. This one captures the hero with his sword in a pose that makes him appear as an avenging or rebellious angel with the tails of his coat forming "wings" behind his back.

This Dante is sculpted by Yasuhiro Hirai and Kouei Matsumoto. This is from the ArtFX series and is a collectible that's perfect for your shelf of other handsome and macho anime characters. Dante stands seven and three-fourths-inch tall in his kneeling pose, which makes him an awesome figure! It can use interchangeable weapons (guns or sword).

Barrel Your Stare into Curvaceous Emi Kizaki from Linebarrels of Iron

Linebarrels of Iron is about a giant robot that appears to fight the bad guys. For manga and anime, the premise is nothing new really, but it's a formulaic hit and fans can never get too much of it, especially with unlikely troubled heroes that they can identify with.

Who can deny that characters like Emi Kizaki will always look new to manga and anime, especially if she is brought to "life" as a detailed Linebarrels of Iron collectors' statue with a delectably charming full curvaceous figure and armed to defend herself and pierce the eyes of those who tend to stare too much! This is an original Kouei Matsumoto Emi Kizaki figurine and is all yours whether you follow the series or not.
